Confocal Laser Sensor
A laser beam is focused on a specimen through an objective lens that moves rapidly up and down. When the objective moves closer to or further away, the reflected light reaching the pinhole is defocused and the intensity decreases. A signal is only generated when the intensity of light going through the pinhole reaches the maximum.

| Model | Resolution | Measurement Range | Working Distance | Spot Size |
| LT-9010 | 0.01 µm 0.0004 mils |
600 µm 24 mils |
6 mm 0.236 inch |
2 µm 0.08 mils |
| LT-9510V | 0.01 µm 0.0004 mils |
200 µm 7.9 mils |
